We are a local accommodation located on Faial island, surrounded by a bucolic environment, ideal to rest and fully enjoy the nature that surrounds us. We preserve a quiet sphere, with our charming orchard, where we have a small agricultural production with fruits, vegetables, teas and aromatic herbs. The name of our farm came from the Torcaz Pigeon, a protected species of the Azores region, often found in the islands of the central group of the archipelago and which plays a key role in spreading the seeds of the Azorean Laurissilva (natural forest – laurel forest). This pigeon chose our property to nest, so we chose to use its name and image to represent us.
